Passing the time away!
Have you ever wondered why we fill our days with so many things to do? Errands, shopping, the gym.....the list of things is endless. Have you ever just stopped? Spent a day doing absolutely nothing? For those out there with kids, I know....this never happens! But doing nothing can be......well, boring.
When I "do nothing" it can drive me nuts. I find that I still need the tv or music on. A few hours reading a book and having a cup a cup of coffee.
We don't always do these things to fill our days because they are needed....we do it because we don't want to be bored! Bored makes us lazy and actually more exhausted than we are while constantly on the go.
We complain about work, but work keeps us busy for the longest period of the day. We complain about the hour we spend at the gym.....well, for those who do go to the gym.....but it is using up the time that we don't want to be bored!
I find myself wanting "to do nothing" but really that means I want to relax a bit, watch some tv, maybe have a cup of tea and read a book. That is me doing nothing to pass the time away.

I hear you there. I find myself doing the same thing at times and find my self gravitating to the comfort of my TeamSpeak chat server to "hang out" online with my friends and just shoot the shit with them.
